Contiflot® continuous flocculation and flotation unit
Contiflot® is a very effective way of pre-processing coloured sugar solutions that contain a high proportion of colloids at very low operating costs. It removes the colloids, leaving a clear sugar solution with up to 70% reduced colour content. There is minimal impact on downstream ion exchangers and activated carbon units, the service life of ion exchangers is considerably increased and the use of activated carbon is reduced by up to 90%.
