Sugar industry
Sugar is an important raw material. However, the quality of raw sugar offered on the world markets is highly variable and the most cost effective types of raw sugar require a great deal of technical knowledge when it comes to the preparation stage, particularly in terms of removing colloids and decolourisation. Dissolving sugar to produce standard syrups at pre-defined and sometimes very high concentrations is a task that can be very technically demanding even though the process may appear simple. Miteco units for dissolving and preparing sugar are characterised by one thing in particular: they make the processes as simple and efficient as possible. This saves costs and ensures a high degree of reliability because our processes are hardware-dependent and do not require the constant use of control and regulation technology, as proven by our process performance data. The Miteco cold dissolving unit Contisolv®-C and hot dissolving unit Contisolv®-H require lower working temperatures to achieve the same concentrations compared to other units, and they do not even reach maximum Brix value.
